Obituary for Wallace "Wally" Sniff

Wallace C. “Wally” Sniff
A celebration of life for longtime McClave resident, Wallace C. Sniff, known to his family and friends as Wally, will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Lamar Christian Church with Ian Blacker officiating. Interment with full Military Honors will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in the Veteran’s Section.

Visitation for Wallace will be held from 1:00PM until 4:00PM on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Wallace was born on December 28, 1937 at Chanute, Kansas to Noel Glen and Phila Ann (Brown) Sniff and passed away on April 25, 2017 at the Lamar Estates Nursing Home at the age of 79 with his family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Aaron and Orval Sniff and his sisters, Gaile Skurlock, Donna Branom and Teresa (Aldo) Tesi.

Wallace is survived by his wife, Shirley Sniff of the family home in McClave, sons, Randy (Sandra) Sniff of Lamar and Curtis (Karla) Sniff of McClave, grandchildren, Kyle (Sha) Sniff, Chad Sniff, Tausha Sniff, Dalton Sniff and Aldon Sniff and great-grandchildren, Brendon and Jolee Sniff. He is also survived by his siblings, Leonard Sniff of Wiley, Kenneth (Sue) Sniff of Lafayette, CO and Glenna (Jerry) Chandler of Springfield, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the McClave High School Athletic Fund either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
