A memorial service for longtime Lamar and Holly resident, Zella Mae Canfield will be held at a later date.
Per Zella’s request cremation has taken place and there was no visitation.
Zella was born on March 7, 1929 at Roger Mills, Oklahoma to Montz William and Birdie Veach (Funston) Canfield and passed away on June 6, 2017 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar at the age of 88.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, LeRoy and Louis Canfield and her sisters, Ila Canfield, Stella Cox and Hazel Treat.
Zella is survived by her nieces, Kelly Wells and Tammy Cramblet as well as three great nieces and nephews and three great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Zella Canfield Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
