Rudolph “Rudy” Medina
A memorial Mass for Lamar resident, formerly of Granada, Rudolph “Rudy” Medina, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday April 30, 2019 at the St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Holly with Father Mariusz Wirkowski as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Granada, CO.
Per Rudy’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Rudy was born on June 18, 1947 in Granada, CO to Joe Medina and Betty Ortiz and departed this life on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at the Prowers Medical Center in Lamar at the age of 71.
Rudy was preceded in death by his parents and siblings – Elsie Mae Luna; Sadie Montes; and Dena Ramos.
Rudy is survived by his siblings – Mary Esther Ramos of Sharon Springs, KS; Peter (Kathleen) Ramos of Torrance, CA; Ernest Ramos of Lamar; Theresa (Robert) Gaebel of Lamar; Martha Ramos (Gerald Apodaca) of Denver; Ralph Ramos of Mt. Juliet, TN; Russell (Tanya) Ramos of Lamar; and Porfirio Gonzales, Jr. of Granada; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St Jude’s Children’s Hospital either direct or care of the funeral home office.
