A Celebration of Life for former Lamar resident and currently of Sahuartita, AZ, Roy L. Comstock was held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
Interment followed with full Military Honors under the auspices of the Lamar VFW Post #3621 and the American Legion Post #71 at Ft. Lyon National Cemetery.
Visitation for Roy was held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mr. Comstock was born on October 26, 1945 at Raton, NM to Carlos G. and Joanna M.(Kamby) Comstock and passed away at the home of his son on July 18, 2013 at Sahuarita, AZ at the age of 67.
Roy is survived by his children; Roy A. (Tracee) Comstock of Sahuarita, AZ, Jason (Charlotte) Comstock of Lamar, Brian Comstock of Pueblo, Brandi (Cody) Primm of Lochbuie, CO and Brad Comstock of Thornton, CO. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Alexa, Deborah, Breanda, Kiara, Cayden, Elleigh, Maddie and Noah as well as his siblings; Barbara Foreman of Norman, OK, Laura Swanson of Morrison, CO, Carlos Garner Comstock of Arvada, Elsie Tufts of Ft. St. Lucy, FL, Frank Comstock of Salida, Sandra Warren of Pueblo, Rick Comstock of Pueblo West and Patricia Hale of LaJunta. Numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive.
