Marjorie A. Mendenhall
A celebration of life for lifelong Lamar resident, Marjorie A. Mendenhall, affectionately known to her family and friends as Marge, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Cemetery.
Visitation for Marge will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Marge was born on December 24, 1929 at Lamar, Colorado to William Roy and Beulah Bernice (Hickman) Morrow and passed away on June 1, 2015 at the Holly Nursing Care Center at the age of 85.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, George Hutchison; second husband, Wayne Mendenhall; her parents and her sister-in-law, Marilee Morrow.
Marge is survived by her children, Bonnie (Ed) Ervin of Ft. Garland, CO; George “Bud” (Nancy) Hutchison of Colorado Springs, CO and Linda (Mark) Bagley of Holly, CO. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great great Grandchildren; brother, Ambler “Sonny” Morrow of Santa Fe, NM as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Marjorie is also survived by her step-children; Alan (Enia) Mendenhall of Denver, Lorna (Richard) Monson of Lamar, Annett (Buck) Malerba of Las Vegas, NV, Eric Mendenhall of Denver, Fonda (Raymond) Berndt of Commerce City, CO, Milton (Lisa) Mendenhall of Lamar and Donna (Kenny) Birt of Great Bend, KS. Marge is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
