Leopoldo Sanchez-Ceballos
An evening celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Leopoldo Sanchez-Ceballos were held at 7:00PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Apostolic Church in Lamar. A second celebration of life were held at 10:00AM on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Apostolic Church in Lamar with Pastor Enrique Varela as officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation for Leopoldo was held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 1:00PM until 7:00PM at the Apostolic Church.
Leopoldo was born on November 15, 1943 at Chihuahua, Mexico to Natividad Sanchez and Enriqueta Ceballos and passed away on September 29, 2016 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta at the age of 72.
He is preceded in death by his father and his siblings, Catalina and Dionisio Sanchez.
Leopoldo is survived by his wife, Manuela Sanchez of Lamar; children, Sara Sanchez; Jose Guadalupe-Sanchez; Jesus Manuel-Sanchez; Noemi Enriqueta-Sanchez; Emilio Sanchez and Blanca Estela-Sanchez; twenty grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Enriqueta Sanchez-Ceballos; siblings, Eladio, Ramon, Juan, Hortencia and Mercedes Sanchez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
