A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Leona B. Webster will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Rory Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery.
Per Leona’s request there will be no public visitation.
Leona was born on May 10, 1916 at Osborn, Kansas to Milo M. and Ethel Mae (White) Conrad and passed away on October 30, 2020 at Lakewood, Colorado at the age of 104. Leona was the oldest of four children.
She married Harold Webster on May 20, 1034 in Lincoln, Kansas. They moved to Lamar, Colorado in 1948. She was an active part of the Webster Egg Ranch. After retirement, she and Harold spent many winters in Rockport, Texas. She returned to live in Lamar after his death in 1989.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Webster, her parents and three siblings Naomi, Ester and Paul.
Leona is survived by her son, Larry (Hariet) Webster of Colorado Springs, CO; grandson, Wesley Webster, great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brandon and Kendall Webster all of Denver, CO and two great-great grandsons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Grateful thanks to the staff of Lamar Estates for their committed care for Leona for so many years.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
