Lawrence Aguilera

A Mass of Christian burial for longtime Wiley, Colorado resident, Lawrence Aguilera will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Patrick as celebrant. A rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 9:30AM at the St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. A rite of committal will follow at the Wiley Cemetery.

Visitation for Lawrence will be held from 1:00PM until 4:00PM on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Lawrence was born at Big Bend, Colorado on February 15, 1939 to Sesario and Ysidora (Lucero) Aguilera and passed away on August 06, 2025 at the Common Spirit Penrose Hospital with his family by his side at the age of 86.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Frank Aguilera, Daria Hernandez, Marge Aguilera and Nancy Perez and his grandchildren Ryan and Riece Aguilera.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 58 years Marcelina Aguilera of the family home in Wiley, CO, children Sophia (Mark) Andrade, Johnny (Sarah) Aguilera, Monica Aguilera and Angie (Tracy) Gunnells, 13 grandchildren as well as 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Sally Jacobs, Inez Rogers, Emma Ortiz, Willie (Regina) Aguilera, Ray (Elaine) Aguilera, Joe (Linda) Aguilera, Mary (Everett) Babb and Carol Aguilera, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence Aguilera Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
