A celebration of life memorial service for former longtime Lamar resident currently of Windsor, Colorado Julianne Marie (Davis) Kinter affectionately known to her family and friends as Julie will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Lamar Christian Church with Cody Petersen officiating.

Per Julie’s request she decided to donate her body to medical research to help those understand the horrible, cancerous disease that took her so quickly.

Julie was born on November 6, 1962 in Denver, Colorado to Robert and Cecilia (Espinosa) Davis and passed away surrounded by her family in her home in Windsor, Colorado on Friday, October 4, 2019.

Julie attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic School in Lamar, Colorado. She raised four daughters and devoted her life to their care and comfort, as well as her grand and great-grandchildren’s. Her interests were yard work including finding and potting unique flowers and plants, watching her daughters’ and grandchildren’s sporting events and spending most of her time with all her family. Her life was built by her love and compassion for others including family, friends, acquaintances or strangers.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert; grandparents, Gilbert and Rafelita Espinosa; sister, Denise Davis; son-in-law, DJ Docter, niece Tasha Davis; Aunt Teda and Uncle Jim Tyler and her sister-in-law, Sherri Davis.

Julie is survived by her daughters, Amy (Chris) Jacobs and their children, Jered, Emmie, Brantley, Davin, Justin, Avery, Devon, Gabrian, Tristan and Haivyn; Kara Dockter; Kathleen (Fred) Cox and their son Trey and Alison (Ryan) Zimmerman and their son Colton; her mother, Cecilia Davis; siblings, Sheryln (Randy) Stephens, Teresa (Phil) Grasmick and Gilbert Davis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
