 A memorial service for lifelong Lamar resident, John Gonzales, Jr. will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Peacock Family Chapel. Inurnment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar.

 John was born on March 12, 1955 at Lamar, Colorado to Juan and Antonia (Hernandez) Gonzales and passed away on July 3, 2024 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 69.

 He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Lou Garcia.

  John is survived by his children Brian (Felicity) Gonzales, Samantha (Jordan) Martinez, Justin (Savannah) Gonzales and Delkys Romero all of Lamar, CO, grandchildren Gabriela, Isella, Ezra, Alyana, Alexis, Autum, Esperanza, Richard, Jordan Jr., Vivienne, Olivia, Aiden, Keenan and Dahlia. He is also survived by his siblings, Raymond (Tammy) Gonzales, Victor (Valorie) Gonzales, Nick (Linda) Gonzales, Monica Gonzales, Veronica Gonzales and Victoria Gonzales as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.

  Memorial contributions may be made to the John Gonzales Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
