A memorial celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident Ida Heinson will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00AM at the Lamar Christian Church with Ray Matteson and Ian Blacker co-officiating.

Ida was born on June 6, 1932 at Dodge City, Kansas to George Dewey and Beulah Elizabeth (Schoonover) Harshberger and passed away on December 23, 2025 at the Lamar Estates Nursing Home with her family by her side at the age of 93.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wade Heinson, son Steve Heinson, her parents and siblings Norma Leis, Emmy Gleichman, George Harshberger and Gary Harshberger.

Ida is survived by her children Rhonda (Richard) Wollert of Wiley, CO and Theresa Emick of Lamar, CO six grandchildren, Chris (Deb) Emick of Rocky Ford, CO, Tia (Colby) Christie of Lamar, CO, Preston (Danielle) Emick of Colorado Springs, CO, Heath (Shawna) Wollert of Eads, CO, Shane (Brittni) Wollert of Wiley, CO and Skye (Ryan) Lown of Stevens Point, WI. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
