Glen M. “Bill” Cole
A come and go celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Glen M. “Bill” Cole will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Eagles in Lamar.
Per Bill’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Bill was born on June 13, 1932 at Sylvia, Kansas to Ralph and Agnes Alberta (Whiting) Cole and passed away on March 11, 2017 at the University Hospital in Denver, Colorado with his family by his side at the age of 84.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Dale Cole, Ray Cole, Fred Cole, Marie Cole, Lois McComas, Thelma McFall and Lynn Cole, his mother and father-in-law, Cleo and Mary Schwartz and his brother-in-law, Dean Schwartz.
Bill is survived by his wife, Thelma Cole of the family home in Lamar, children, Carol Ciluffo of Denver, Sharon (Rod Hume) Cole of Walsh and Kathy (Mark) Lancaster of Aurora and a grandson, Chase Lancaster. He is also survived by his brothers, Lester “Boss” Cole of Pueblo and Steve Cole of Lusk, WY, his brother-in-law, Leroy (Jean) Schwartz and his sister-in-law, Patsy Schwartz as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
