Genae Briana Rose Gurule

            A service of the angels for Genae Briana Rose Gurule, the daughter of Shawntay Melgosa and the late Brian Gurule, will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Redeeming Love Church with Pastor Mark Viar officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery.

            Visitation for Genae will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at the Peacock Family Chapel.

            Genae was born on February 11, 2021 at Colorado Springs, Colorado to Shawntay Melgosa and went to heaven on January 30, 2023 after a brief illness.

            She is preceded in death by her father Brian Gurule.

            Genae is survived by her mother Shawntay Melgosa and her siblings Gabriel and Graceson Melgosa all of the family home in Lamar; maternal grandmother Bernice Melgosa, paternal grandmother Melanie Gurule, maternal great-grandparents Geneva and Oscar Melgosa and paternal great-grandmother Lillie Gurule all of Lamar, CO as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends.

            Memorial contributions may be made to the Genae Gurule Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
