A memorial service for lifelong Lamar resident, Frank Bean was held at 1:00PM on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Harold Balwin officiating. Inurnment will be held at later date at Fairmount Cemetery in the Veteran’s Section.
Per Frank’s request cremation has taken place and there was no visitation.
Frank was born on December 31, 1938 at Lamar, Colorado to Charles Monroe and Agnes Elizabeth (Hixson) Bean and passed away on December 11, 2015 at the age of 76.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Barbara Pruitt; daughter-in-law, Cheryll Bean; son-in-law, Jim Magill and nephew, Brett Allen Stoker.
Frank is survived by his wife, Betty Bean of the family home in Lamar; children, Joyce (Ken) Rutledge of Arvada, CO; Gary Bean of Denver, CO and Rodney (Zena) Bean of St. Louis, MO; siblings, Katheryn (George) Blackwell of Holly; John (Ginger) Bean of Juneau, Alaska; Martha (Bert) Stoker of La Junta, CO; Michael Bean of Pleasant Hill, MO and Nancy (Lewis) Schultz of Buena Vista, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
