A private family graveside service for longtime Lamar resident and current resident of the Holly Nursing Care Center, Eva M. Davis was held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Fairmount Cemetery with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
Eva was born on January 17, 1922 at Tyrone, Oklahoma to Fred L. and Elsie (Hook) Harrison and passed away at the Holly Nursing Care Home on February 12, 2016 at the age of 94.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Blynn Jones, Alec Dieterle, and John Wesley Davis, her sons Garry Jones and Kelly Jones and two grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her children Terry (Susan) Jones of Goodyear, AZ, and Richard (Tammy) Jones of Lamar. She is also survived by two daughters-in-law Debbie Jones of Pueblo and Diane Jones of Lamar. 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren other relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Senior Citizens Center either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
