David L. “D.J.” Dockter, Jr.
A celebration of life for longtime Wiley, Colorado resident, David L. Dockter, Jr., affectionately known to his family and friends as DJ, will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Per D.J.’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
D.J. was born on June 12, 1979 at Pueblo, Colorado to David L. Dockter, Sr. and Vickie Lynn Karr and passed away on March 19, 2019 at his home in Wiley, Colorado at the age of 39.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Lynn Dockter and his best friends, Kevin Weber and Monty “Fuzzy” Mills.
D.J. is survived by his wife, Kara Dockter of the family home in Wiley; his father, David L. Dockter, Sr. of Ordway, CO; siblings, Derek (MaryAnn) Dockter of Lamar, Misty (Hilario) Escobar of Liberal, KS and Maddie (Rusty) Manly of Lamar. He is also survived by his best friend, Lucas Smith of Windsor, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
