A celebration of life graveside service for lifetime Lamar resident, Bonnie J. Cook will be held at 1:00 PM Monday September 14, 2020 at the Veteran’s Section of Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar. Raymond Cook will officiate the service.
Per Bonnie’s request there will be no public visitation.
Bonnie J. Cook was born on February 17, 1926 in Lamar, CO to Daniel Sharp and Bonnie Vivian Dowen-Sharp and departed this life on Thursday September 10, 2020 at her home in Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 94.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband – Raymond Cook; by twin infant brothers; by one sister – Molly Yoder; and by a son-in-law – Richard Jones.
Bonnie is survived by three children – Raymond (Kathryn) Cook of Bridgeport. NE; Deborah (Billy) Polk of Lamar; and Tami Jones also of Lamar; by 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 22 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Murrow Indian Children’s Home or to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
