Anthony was born on September 6, 1994 to Nichole Witter and Anthony LaTour in Colorado Springs, Colorado and passed away on February 23, 2019 at the age of 24. He was the oldest of four siblings.

Anthony graduated from Lamar High School in Lamar, Colorado in 2013 where he was a two-year varsity athlete in Cross Country and Track and Field. He had a desire to run and earned a full ride scholarship to Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kansas where he received his Associate of Arts Degree. During his time in college, Anthony competed in Cross Country and indoor/outdoor Track and Field. During his sophomore season, he competed at the 2014 NJCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Lubbock, Texas.

Anthony had an astonishing passion and an uncanny natural talent for music. He was the true Guitar Hero! At 14, he picked up his first guitar and taught himself how to play. He played like no other, writing and producing his own music became his heart and soul. In his earlier years, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and ATVing with his family.

Anthony has left his life to go to the life he was drawn to. He was ready to live eternity in the peace and calm serenity he so desperately searched for. He so desperately needed. He so desperately ached for. With the Lord by his side, he now has just that.

Anthony attended Sunnyside Church in Colorado Springs and Lamar Christian Church in Lamar, Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Darlene LaTour.

Anthony is survived by his father, Anthony (Patricia) LaTour; mother, Nichole Witter; siblings, Isaiah and Tenaya LaTour and Gentry Gortner. He is also survived by his grandparents, Alfred and Karen Adame of Bristol, CO and Mark and Sandy Witter of Colorado Springs, CO as well as numerous cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Poem:
I called upon my Lord, “I’m ready on this day”
“My heart grows weary on this Earth. My soul has need for Eternal Peace.
Lord, take my hand and lead me home.”
With doves around me, He did.
