Andrew Edwin Kline
A private family service for Ramah, Colorado resident Andrew Kline will be held at a later date.
Andrew Edwin Kline, age 61, passed away tragically on March 27, 2026. He was born on May 22, 1964, in Akron, Ohio. Andrew, known to many as Andy, was raised in Mogadore, Ohio, alongside his sisters JoAnn and Julie. He cherished his upbringing in a close-knit community he fondly described as a “Leave It to Beaver” town, where family, friendships, and strong values shaped his early life. He was active in sports, including baseball, football, and wrestling, and developed a lifelong passion for cars and mechanics while working various jobs as a teenager.
After graduating high school, Andy traveled to California and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Although he experienced both loss and renewal throughout his life, he maintained a deep love and respect for his stepfather David Cunin. He remained especially devoted to his mother, Audrey. Pursuing his passion for mechanics, Andy attended the University of Northwestern Ohio, earning a diploma as a High-Performance Technician. During this time, he remarried and moved to Colorado, where he welcomed his beloved son, Elijah Kline, in 2008. Becoming a father was one of his proudest moments.
Andy spent much of his career in various automotive technology occupations, aligning with his passion for working on cars. His labor of love was his home on forty acres in the Plains region of Colorado. He never tired of the open expanses and the beauty of the sunrises and sunsets.
In later years, Andy met and married the love of his life Cynthia Newman whom he referred to as his rock; sweet, kind, loving and always there for him. Together they built a peaceful life in the countryside, enjoying road trips, time outdoors, and holidays with their blended family.
Andrew will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of family, his mechanical talents, and his appreciation for a simple, meaningful life.
Andrew is preceded in death by his father William Edwin Kline of Akron, Ohio; his step-dad David Harold Cunin of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Grandparents-Lowell Bircher Cunin, Jonnie Hellen Denny, Dorothy Cunin, uncles, aunts, cousins, Stepdaughter and many other extended family members that he cared for and loved.
He is survived by his son, Elijah; his wife, Cynthia; step-children Brittany Watts and Dustyn Newman; his mother, Audrey; his sisters JoAnn and Julie; and many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Andrew Kline Memorial fund either direct to Cynthia Kline 16895 Oil Well Road, Ramah, CO 80832 or in care of the funeral home office at Peacock Funeral Home 209 S. 4th St, Lamar, CO, 81052.
