Al Malone

           A memorial service for longtime Wiley resident, Charles Alvin Malone, Jr. affectionately known to his family and friends as Al will be held at 10:00 AM Friday May 23, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar.  Pastor Calob Rundell of the McClave/Wiley United Methodist Churches will officiate the service.

           

            Per Al’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.

           

            Al was born on August 17, 1940 in Goodlett, Texas to Charles Alvin and Beulah (Scott) Malone, Sr. and passed away on May 3, 2014 at the Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Pueblo, CO at the age of 73.

            He is preceded in death by his parents, sister; Alice Malone, brother-in-law; Roger DuVall and nephew; Shad Malone.

            Al is survived by his wife Donna Malone of Wiley, children; Lane (Cindy) Malone of Bristol, Brad (Stephanie) Malone of McClave and Nick (Mindy) Malone of Monte Vista, CO and seven grandchildren; Emmie (Jered) Lowe of Northglenn, CO, Evan Malone of Bristol; Megan Malone and Fiance Riley Burk of Monte Vista, Dax and Madison Malone also of Monte Vista, and Quade and Kasen Malone of McClave. He is also survived by his siblings; Ancel (Jackie) Malone and Sheryl (David) Holden all of Granada as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
