A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident Yvonne Bishop will be held at a later date.
Per Yvonne’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Yvonne was born on January 24, 1970 at Lamar, Colorado to David Michael Higgins and Allene Elizabeth Sumners and passed away on March 5, 2016 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 46.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Yvonne is survived by her husband, Wayne Bishop; children, Jeremiah Bishop; Krysten Bishop and Leah Bishop all of the family home in Lamar and one grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Tina (Donald) Bailey of Littleton, CO; Charlotte (Howard) Willis of Turpin, OK; Elaine (Patrick) Surprise of Greeley, CO; Ted Welch of Hawaii; Clarence Welch of Liberal, KS; Justin Welch of Hawaii; Ethan Higgins of Cheyenne, WY and Sarah Higgins of Mesa, AZ as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Yvonne Bishop Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
