A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Vickie L. Peters was held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Mike Martin of the Lifeseed Church officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
Per Vickie’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Vickie was born on April 8, 1954 at Granite City, Illinois to Edwin Lawrence and LaVonne Jane (Murray) Peters and passed away on May 14, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Lamar at the age of 62.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edwin Hugh Peters.
Vickie is survived by her children, Lisa Flores of Lamar, Timothy (D’Ann) Caddick of Pueblo and Greta Caddick of Lamar; the love of her life, Mike Flores of Lakin, KS; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Don Peters and sister, Nellie Price both of Lamar as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
