Stanley L. McCullough
A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Stanley L. McCullough, was held at 11:00 AM Monday November 25, 2013 at the Peacock Family Chapel. Ray Matteson and Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church co-officiated the service.
Per Stanley’s request, cremation has taken place and there was no public visitation.
Stanley L. McCullough was born on April 22, 1939 at Medicine Lodge, Kansas to Jim McCullough and Marion (Lukens) McCullough and departed this life on Thursday November 21, 2013 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar at the age of 74.
Mr. McCullough was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother-in-law – Bill Smith.
Stanley L. McCullough is survived by his wife – Jane; by four children – Julie (Mike) Bellomy of Hudson, CO; Tarri McCullough of Anthony, KS; Rick Thomas of Wiley; and Rod (Julie) Thomas also of Wiley; by his grandchildren – Michael, Summer, Kacy, Lyaneah, Ryan, Shelby, Jadelle (Carlos) Torrez, and Keenan (Kelsy) Thomas; by two great grandchildren – Brittin and Felix; and by three siblings – Jimmy (Judy) McCullough; Pat (Jean) McCullough all of Medicine Lodge, KS; and Marilyn Smith of Galva, KS; along with other relatives and many friends.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lamar Area Hospice either directly or through the funeral home office.
