A memorial service for longtime Wiley resident, Sharon K. Hewitt was held at 2:30PM on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Wiley United Methodist Church with Pastor Calob Rundell officiating.
Per Sharon’s request cremation took place and there will be no visitation.
Sharon was born on November 15, 1956 at Georgetown, South Carolina to Jerome Joseph and Janet (Smith) Thompson and passed away on November 4, 2014 at her home in Wiley at the age of 57.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Sharon is survived by significant other; Charles Hewitt of the family home in Wiley, children; Katina (Brian) Howe of Arlington, TX, Matthew Jenkins of Colorado and Daniel Jenkins of Sardis, Georgia, daughter-in-law; Cassandra Downs of Wiley as well as three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother; Jerome Thompson of Dallas, TX, sisters; Lou Jeanne (David) Henry and Kathy Bunch all of Georgia and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
