A Memorial Service for longtime Lamar resident, Robert K. Bastian was held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 10:00AM at the Peacock Funeral Home with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating. Interment of the ashes followed at

Fairmount
Cemetery.

Per Robert’s request cremation took place and there was no visitation.
 
Robert was born on July 25, 1937 at Coolidge, Kansas to Daniel and Laura Loraine (Wells) Bastian and passed away on March 22, 2011 at his daughter’s home in
Pueblo with his family by his side at age 73.
 
He is preceded in death by his wife; Joan Bastian, his parents and six brothers and sisters.
 
Robert is survived by his children; Rhonda Bennett of Pueblo, Richard (Deborah) Bastian of Wiley, Robert (Patricia) Bastian of Denver and Douglas (Casandra) Bastian of Lamar, 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister; Wanda (Fred) Bustillos and brother; Glen (Judy) Bastian all of
Denver, as well as other family and a host of friends.
