A memorial service for former Lamar resident currently of Pueblo, CO; Paul Montoya will be held at a later date.
Per Paul’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Paul was born on March 31, 1940 at Cuba, New Mexico to Jesus Maria and Rebbeca (Segura) Montoya and passed away on March 17, 2014 at Parkview Medical in Pueblo, CO at the age of 73.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Sandra Ulibarri, and sibling; Rafelita Ortega.
Paul is survived by his son; Gerald Paul Montoya of Lamar, grandson; Joseph (Autum) Gonzalez of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky currently serving in Afghanistan, brothers and sisters; Joe B. Montoya of Lamar, Mary Salazar of Burns, Oregon, Jose Robert (Flora) Montoya and Donita Gonzales both of Lamar. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends also survive.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Paul Montoya Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
