A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Paul J. Gadash will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ralph Plummer officiating.
Per Paul’s request cremation has taken place and there was no visitation.
Paul was born on May 11, 1927 at Scott City, Kansas to Mike and Clarice Fern (Anglin) Gadash and passed away on December 31, 2014 at the Holly Nursing Care Center at the age of 87.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Gary Gadash and infant daughter; Diane, siblings; Eugene Bradford, Katherine Shank, Oscar Gadash and Florence Paulette.
Paul is survived by his wife; Lorella Gadash of the family home in Lamar, daughters; Linda (Troy) Rose of New Cumberland, PA and Paula (Jerry) Rook of Jonesboro, AR, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother; Charles Spicka of Las Cruces, NM, step-children; Stanley (Patty) Mick of Stockton, MO, Loran Mick of Wiley, Keo (Rod) Thompson of Holly, Ava (Scott) Bair of Wiley and Lora (Eric) Hawkins of Elizabeth, CO as well as numerous other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
