A Graveside Rite of Committal for Lamar resident, Martha E. Elam will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Riverside Cemetery with Deacon Allan Medina officiating.
Per Mrs. Elam’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Martha was born on January 24, 1932 at Lamar, Colorado to William W. and Leona (Gorman) Elam and passed away on February 20, 2016 at the Lamar Estates at the age of 84.
She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father Ross Bethel and her brother Joseph “Buster” Elam.
She is survived by her son and his wife Ed and Charlene Elam of Dodge City, KS; grandchildren Chad, Billy and Preston Elam; great grandchildren Kolby and William; one great granddaughter Peightan LaRayne and a sister in law Wilma Elam of Twin Falls, ID. Other relatives and friends also survive.
