Due to inclement weather the service for Linda Medina has been moved to Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 10:00AM at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Charlie Sena as celebrant. Rosary was held prior to the mass at 9:30AM also at the church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation for Linda will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Peacock Funeral Home.
Linda was born on July 12, 1964 at Syracuse, Kansas to Marcelo O. and Jennie (Besse) Medina and passed away on January 29, 2014 at Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Pueblo, CO at the age of 49.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Jennie Medina, two brothers; Maguin Besse and Nachie Medina.
Linda is survived by her daughter; Judy (Daniel Lira) Medina, her fiancé; Tony Reynero, father; Marcelo Medina all of Lamar. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Peggy (Dennis) Cummins of Denver, Mary “Kat” (Dennis) Montoya of Lamar, Art Medina of Garden City, KS, Pat Flores of Fountain, CO, Al Medina of Colorado Springs, CO and Kristina (Albert) Archuleta of Fountain, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Linda Medina Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
