A funeral service for long time Lamar resident, Linda J. Lohse, was held at 10:00 AM Wednesday August 29, 2012 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar. Ian Blacker with the Lamar Christian Church officiated the service and burial followed in the Wiley Cemetery in Wiley, Colorado.
Visitation for Linda was held from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday August 28, 2012 and prior to the service on Wednesday at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Linda J. Lohse was born on February 19, 1948 in Florence, Arizona to John Wright and Betty (Rains) Wright and departed this life on Saturday August 25, 2012 at the Prowers Medical Center in Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 64.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Linda is survived by her husband; Dave Ausmus of the family home in Lamar, children; Brian Lohse and Christopher Lohse and her grandson; Michael Lohse all of Lamar. She is also survived by her siblings; Johnny (Carol) Wright of San Diego, CA and Ruth Wilkens of Pittsburg, CA, cousin; Dean (Tom) Ledesma of Lamar and friend; JoAnn Reyes and her daughter; Julia Reyes both of Lamar. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends also survive.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Linda Lohse Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
