Private family services were held for lifetime Lamar resident, Larry L. Newman.
Per Larry’s request cremation has taken place and there is no public visitation.
Larry was born on January 3, 1964 in Lamar, Colorado to Larry Albert Newman and Glenda Sue (Piatt) Newman and departed this life on Friday April 18, 2014 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 50.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry is survived by his wife – Liz Newman of the family home in Lamar; by two sons – Michael (Samantha) Newman of Lamar; and Kevin (Casey) Frueh of Pueblo; by three grandchildren; by two brothers – Cary Newman of Lamar; and Craig (Cindy) Newman of Kit Carson; by two step-sisters – Carla (Chad) Tombleson of Lamar; and Jenny Campbell of Kansas; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
