Graveside services for Buena Vista resident, Larry D. Palmer was held at 1:00PM on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Hillside Cemetery in Granada, Colorado with Full Military Honors under the auspices of the Lamar VFW Post #3621 and the American Legion Post # 71.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Palmer was held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Buena Vista VFW Post #1166. Larry was a life member of the VFW post as well as a member of the American Legion in Buena Vista.
Per Larry’s request there ws no visitation.
Larry was born on April 25, 1933 at Lamar, Colorado to Walter M. “Bud” and Lela I. “Bitty” (Miller) Palmer and passed away on October 5, 2012 at Buena Vista, Colorado at the age of 79.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Larry is survived by his brother Monty (Sue) Palmer of Granada, Colorado as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Buena Vista VFW
Post # 1166 direct or in care of the funeral home office.
