A Memorial Celebration of Life for longtime Lamar resident Karen Benge was held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Jerry Ellis officiating.
Per Karen’s request there will be no public viewing.
Karen was born November 13, 1947 at
Leoti, Kansas to Wesley J. and Shirley A. (Plumhoff) Boulware and departed this life at the age of 62 on March 9, 2010 at her home with her family and caregivers by her side.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sandy Osborn.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands; Karla (Jim) Foltz of Humphrey, Nebraska and Carrie (David) Hamaker of Kellerton,
Iowa. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren; Tiffani, Tanya, Kimberly, Kelsi, Bailey, Miles, McKenzi and Karlie as well as many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
