A Memorial Mass for longtime Lamar resident, Joseph Allen Fierro, known to his family and friends as “Joe”, was held at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 13, 2014 at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Matthew Wertin officiating.
Per Joe’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.
Joe was born on May 28, 1958 at Denver, Colorado to Bethel and Helen (Roybal) Fierro and passed away on October 10, 2014 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado with his family by his side at the age of 56.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother; Bethel Fierro.
Joe is survived by his children; Michelle Jensen of Pampa, TX, Andrew (April) Fierro of Arapahoe, CO, Gregory Fierro of Panama City Beach, FL, Thomas Fierro and Chloe Fierro both of Umbarger, TX. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren; Rhys, Sean and Abigail Jensen sister; Loretta Quinones and brother; Chris Fierro both of Lamar as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Joe Fierro Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
