A graveside celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Jettie M. Dillion was held at 2:00PM on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar.
Jettie was born on June 18, 1923 in Pike County, Kentucky to Vince and Gracie (Ward) Coleman and peacefully passed away on August 26, 2015 at her home in Lamar at the age of 92.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Dillion; her parents, Vince and Gracie Coleman; grandsons, Sean Dillion, Chad Dillion and Christopher Dillion; by three sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Dillion is survived by three sons, Jerry (Betsy) Dillion, Terry (Jessie) Dillion and Tim (Debbie) Dillon, all of Lamar; grandchildren, Kim (Aaron) Shiplet, Nicole (John) Miranda, Brett Dillion, Melanie Bentley, Craig (Torrie) Dillion, Micah (Amy) Dillon and Hannah Dillon; by twelve grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Ethel Lazar of Ambridge, PA as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
