A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Jane McCullough, was held at 10:30 AM, Monday March 10, 2014 at the Lamar Christian Church with Ray Matteson officiating.
Per Jane’s request, cremation took place and there will be no public visitation.
Jane McCullough was born on September 29, 1939 at Lamoni, Iowa to Raymond and Alice (Jackson) Mickelson and departed this life on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 74.
Mrs. McCullough is preceded in death by her husband; Stanley McCullough on November 21, 2013 and her parents.
Jane is survived by her four children – Rick Thomas, Rod (Julie) Thomas all of Wiley, Julie (Mike) Bellomy of Hudson, CO and Tarri McCullough of Anthony, KS; by her grandchildren –
Jadelle (Carlos) Torres, Keenan (Kelsy) Thomas, Ryan, Shelby, Kacy, Lyaneah, Michael and Summer; by two great grandchildren – Brittin, Felix and baby Torres on the way; and by three siblings – Ramona Pangle of Searcy, AR; Roger Mickelson of Maryland and Judith (Jim) Hutchcroft of Lamar; along with other relatives and many friends.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lamar Area Hospice either directly or through the funeral home office.
