A Celebration of Life for lifelong Lamar resident and former National Secretary for Democratic Women’s Federation, Frances M. Breashears was held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel with her nephew Jan Hall officiating. Interment followed at Fairmount Cemetery.

Per Frankie’s request there was no public visitation.

Frankie as she was endeared to by some of her family and friends was born on April 24, 1915 at Lamar, Colorado to Phillip and Bessie Barbara (Hagerman) Hall and passed away at the age of 98 on March 3, 2014 at Prowers Medical Center following a short illness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Louie F. Breashears on March 29, 1991; her brothers; Don Hall, Joe Hall, Sim Hall and Walter Caulk as well as her sisters; Denzel Hall and June Tucker.

Frances is survived by her son Dick Kessler of Lamar, three grandchildren; Dacra Jones of Lamar, Dawn (Alan) Schmittel of Canon City, CO and Diana Drake-Kessler of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister-in-law Luann Hall of Lamar and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Rescue either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
