A Celebration of Life for longtime Lamar resident, Frances White was held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Lamar Christian Church with Ian Blacker officiating. Interment followed at Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation for Frances was held on Thursday, June 28 from 1:00PM until 7:00 PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Frances was born on May 16, 1931 at Holly, Colorado to Clarence and Erma B. (McLaughlin) Atkinson and passed away on June 25, 2012 at the Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 81.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Frances is survived by her husband, Louie White of the family home in Lamar, daughters; Debbie Roberts, Kathy (Ron) Bush all of Frisco, TX and Barbara White of Lamar. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, sisters; Roberta (Bill) Willhite of Holly, CO and Anita (Terry) Williams of Dodge City, KS as well as numerous other family and a host of friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice and/or Lamar Christian Church either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
