Emery Lorin Cass
A Celebration of Life for longtime Hasty resident Emery L. Cass was held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Lamar Christian Church with Ian Blacker officiating. Interment followed at the Hasty Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Cass was held from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Peacock Funeral Home and Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.
Mr. Cass was born on February 7, 1929 at Fairview, Kansas to Daniel Joseph and Bernice (Whitney) Cass and passed away at his home in Hasty on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the age of 84 with his family by his side.
Emery is preceded in death by his wife Betty, his son Lorin and wife Pam Cass as well as his sisters; Roberta Foster and Audrey Gray.
He is survived by his children: Mitch (Mary) Cass of McClave and Shawn (Jimmy) Cardinelli of Hasty. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
