A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Elsie Morrow was held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Galen Burnett of the Faith Friends Church officiating. Interment followed at Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation for Elsie was held on Monday February 18, 2013 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Elsie was born on June 17, 1928 at Las Animas, Colorado to Fount Leroy and Faye (Minick) Canfield and passed away at her home on February 12, 2013 with her family by her side at the age of 84.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos C. Morrow, her parents, daughter; Beverly Morrow, brother Charles Eugene Canfield and sister-in-law; Betty Canfield.
Elsie is survived by her children; Carlene (Ed) Crawford and Jim Morrow all of Lamar, grandchildren; Leslie (Cliff) Mann, Rhonda (Robert) Drysdale, Kelly (Jennifer) Koehn and Ryan Upton, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; Cecil Canfield, Alvie (Claudine) Canfield all of Lamar and Opal Brittain of Aurora, CO.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Faith Friends Church either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
