Dorothy Lee Crockett, 87, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015, in Garden City, Kansas after a long struggle with cancer.  She was born on October 24, 1927 in Goodwell, Oklahoma to Thurl and Bonnie Lee Glover. In 1948, she married Jack Zimmerman in Clayton, New Mexico and together they raised five children in Grand Junction and Eads, Colorado; in 1980, Dot married Cecil Crockett of Towner, Colorado, where she lived for 33 years.  Dot was a dedicated wife and mother; she loved people and kept her quick wit to the end. She will be missed by all who knew her. 
She is survived by sister; Bonnie McMurray, children Paul of Haswell, CO, Polly of Portland, OR, Lori of Colorado Springs, CO, Eric of Bremerton, WA, and Amy of Garden City, CO, step-children Janet of Wray, CO and Bonnie of Lamar, CO, 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dot is preceded in death by her parents, brother Wallin T., Jack Zimmerman, husband Cecil Crockett and grandchildren Scott and Serena.
Funeral services were performed by Steve Ensz at the Methodist Church in Towner, Colorado on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment at the Eads Cemetery preceded the service at 10:00 a.m.
