A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Dave Chenoweth was held at 10:00AM on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Lamar Christian Church with Reverend Kathy Leathers of the Holly United Methodist Church officiating.
Per Dave’s request cremation took place and there will be no visitation.
Dave was born on June 5, 1955 at Lamar, Colorado to Derrel Wayne and Thelma Marie (Bechtle) Chenoweth and passed away on December 7, 2012 at the age of 57.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Dave is survived by his wife Marilyn of the family home in Lamar, daughters; Shanna (Cecil) Kegans of Stafford, VA and Crystal (Brian) Alford of Oklahoma City, OK, grandchildren; Ashley and Alex Alford and his brother Steven (Marilyn) Chenoweth of Springfield, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, the Southeast Colorado Cancer Initiative and/or the McClave United Methodist Church either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
