A celebration of life graveside service for longtime Big Bend, Colorado resident, Clyde T. Sanders will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, February 3, 2020.
Per the family’s request there will be no visitation.
Clyde was born on April 4, 1925 at Wiley, Colorado to Lesley McKay and Ivy May (Wedekinds) Sanders and passed away on January 29, 2020 at the Weisbrod Memorial Nursing Home in Eads, Colorado with his family by his side at the age of 94.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Sanders; parents; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Ellen Sanders; daughter-in-law, Jeany Sanders; three granddaughters, Lorretta Mata, Cindy Aldrich and Robyn Jimenez and his siblings, Neva Welty, Les, Harold, Ivan and Frank Sanders and Ruby E. Cheney.
Clyde is survived by his children, Sylvia (David) LaCost of Lamar and Alan Sanders of Wiley; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Weisbrod Memorial Nursing Home in Eads, Colorado either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
