Clyde D. Warn
A Celebration of Life for lifelong Lamar resident Clyde D. Warn was held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating. Interment with full military honors was held at Fairmount Cemetery under the auspices of the Lamar V.F.W. Post #3621 and the American Legion Post #71.
Visitation for Mr. Warn was held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 4:00 until 7:00 and Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Clyde was born on February 7, 1925 at the homestead south of Lamar to John E. and Eldora J. (Rutter) Warn and passed away following a brief illness on September 2, 2012 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in LaJunta, CO at the age of 87.
He is preceded in death by his wife Velma (McCorkle) Warn on November 16, 2002, parents, and his siblings; Ralph, Leroy, Ruben, John and Jesse Warn and Dorothy Perkins and Emma May Warn.
Clyde is survived by his children; Loren Warn and Staffon (Michelle) Warn both of Lamar, Ron (Pam) Masterson of Springfield, CO, Belva (Gary) Kaminsky of Rocky Ford, CO, Eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren with one on the way as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives including Mary Warn. Zelma Courkamp and Reva McCorkle all of Lamar and many friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Senior Citizens Center direct or in care of the Peacock Family.
