A Funeral Mass for longtime McClave resident, Carl V. Rainwater was held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Charlie Sena as celebrant. Interment for Carl was held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Lorenzo Cemetery in Lorenzo, Texas.
Carl was born on April 6, 1929 at Brownsville, Texas to Ollie and Audrey (White) Rainwater and passed away on December 22, 2014 at Rose Medical Center at the age of 85 with his family by his side.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Yolanda B. Rainwater, his parents and his brother; Ralph Rainwater.
Carl is survived by his son; Miguel (LaDawn) Rainwater of Lamar, foster sons; Andy (Norma) Gonzales and Lenny Gonzales, grandchildren; Buster (Zandra) Rainwater of Longmont, CO, Justin (Vanessa Allen) Rainwater of Ault, CO, Daniel (Shawntaya) Isgar, Mandy (David Roybal) Valezquez, Jennifer, Yvette, Ivan, Emiliana and Hanna Gonzales. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren; Sienna, Kolton and Kayden Rainwater and Selby Isgar as well as a host of friends.
