A celebration of life memorial service for longtime McClave resident, Brad Smartt was held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 13, 2012 at the Hasty Fire House with Pastor Jack Martin officiating.
Per Brad’s request cremation has taken place and there was no visitation.
Brad was born on January 30, 1971 at Lamar, Colorado to Tommy L. and Esther H. (Schwab) Smartt and passed away on April 7, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 41.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister; Natalie Smartt and brother; Greg Smartt.
Brad is survived by his wife; Sherry Smartt of the family home in McClave, children; Felicia Smartt of Springfield, Austin (Shelby) Smartt of Oregon, Kienan, Kierra, Kolten, and Kendal Smartt all of McClave. He is also survived by one grandchild; by one brother; Jeff Smartt of McClave; by one sister; Leslie Smartt of Iowa; by his mother and father-in-law; Mike and Linda King; and by three brothers-in-law; Jerry King, Billy King, and Bobby King; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brad Smartt Memorial Fund through Legacy Bank or through the funeral home office.
