A Service of Celebration for longtime Wiley and Lamar resident, Beulah L. Evans was held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Redeeming Love Church with Pastor Mark Viar officiating. Interment followed at Fairmount Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Peacock Funeral Home.

Mrs. Evans was born on October 18, 1923 at Hannibal, Missouri to Leslie Howard and Fay (Harrell) Stubblefield and passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at her home in Lamar with her family at her side.

Beulah is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister; Dorothy.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years Francis Evans of the family home, her children; Sheryl Runyan of Denver, Richard (Carol) Evans of Lamar, Kenneth (Debbie) Evans of Denver, Thomas Evans of Wiley and Jack (Debbie) Evans also of Wiley. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Michael, Lindsey, Lisa, Sonya, Jenny, Sarah, Cole, and Morgan, eight great grandchildren; Megan, Mikaela, Zachery, Reid, Roxy, Rylee, Noah and Lexi. Her four sisters; Mona, Marybeth, Veva, Patricia, six brothers; Kenneth, Chalmer, Ronnie, Ralph, Jack and Willie as well as her stepmother Sarah Clore and many friends of the Lamar and Wiley area also survive.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice or the Redeeming Love Church either direct or through the funeral home office.
