A memorial service for lifetime Lamar resident, Barb Givan, will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Reverend Rory Gillespie officiating.
Per Barb’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Barb was born on May 14, 1936 at Pueblo, Colorado to Halsey Frazier and Virginia Louise (Wood) Fuller and passed away on November 13, 2015 at her home in Lamar at the age of 79 with her family by her side.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wally Givan and her parents.
Barb is survived by her children, Patty (Mike) Terwilleger of Cheyenne, WY; David (Diane) Givan of North Dakota; Shelly (Joe) Wagner of Sublette, KS; Tammy (Rod) Swisher of Holly and Debby (David) Cook of Rocky Ford, CO; fourteen grandchildren, Brady; Ann; David Luke; Amber; Kristen; Bryan; Jordan; Logan; Emma; Paul; Tiffany; Lacee; Brannon and Blaize. She is also survived by her sixteen great-grandchildren; four siblings, Shirley (Wally) Sniff of McClave; Dick (Helen) Fuller of Ohio; Betty (Jerry) Park of Bristol and Peggy (Baxter) Tate of Missouri as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, to include a special cousin - Pat Lindsey of NM, other family, and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice and/or Relay for Life – Team Believe in a Cure either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
