A Graveside funeral service for Lamar resident, Allene M. Bowman was held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar with Reverend Dave Davis of the Lamar First Baptist Church officiating.
Allene was born October 19, 1927 in Holly, Colorado to Estis F. and Inez B. (Wright) Sears and departed this life on Monday February 4, 2013 in Lamar at the age of 85.
Allene is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Michelle Bowman, a brother Norman Sears and her sister Maxine Sears.
She is survived by her husband – Don Bowman of Lamar; two daughters – Lana (Dave) Coleman of Aurora; and Lisa Bowman (Scott Duenwald) of Broomfield; by one granddaughter Lexie Duenwald and by one sister Charlotte McBride of Anaheim, CA; along with nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
