Neil was born May 11, 1927, in
Lamar, CO, to Clyde R. Darbyshire and Esther Katherine Moss Darbyshire, and passed away at his residence on December 11, 2008, at the age of 81.
Neil was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Alfred Darbyshire, a daughter Carol Lynn Darbyshire, and one great granddaughter, Tiffany Jade Darbyshire.
Neil is survived by his children Susan Elaine (Alex) Nava of Lamar, Arthur Steven (Jackie) Darbyshire of Dumas, TX; Kevin Dee Darbyshire of New Castle, CO; Cindy Jolee Jones of Lamar, and Michael Scott (Marta) Darbyshire of Lamar. Also surviving are brothers Leslie Laurence (Marie) Darbyshire of Pensacola, FL and Marion Leon (Patricia) Darbyshire of Hopewell, VA. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive, as well as a host of friends.
